Meet Claire & Harry 👋

CampaMate was created by us, Claire & Harry, two family members with one very big thing in common — we both own and absolutely love our campervans!

We’re based in two very different parts of the country, with Claire in the Hertfordshire countryside and Harry down on the East Sussex coast. We both spend lots of our spare time travelling, exploring and enjoying life in our campers.

And that’s really where the idea for CampaMate began.

Like so many people who travel by campervan or motorhome, we found ourselves constantly jumping between different websites, apps, maps and social media pages just to find the information we needed. We thought: wouldn’t it be so much easier if everything was in one place?

So, we decided to build it.

CampaMate is designed to be your all-in-one companion for van life. A place where you can find campsites and stopovers, plan and save routes, discover useful businesses, read guides, search videos and tutorials, create checklists, save your favourite places and recommendations, and even buy or sell campervans and motorhomes.

You can build up your own collection of useful information so it’s there whenever you need it, share routes and recommendations with others, and use our map to discover places added by the CampaMate community — or add your own finds to help other travellers too.

The idea is simple: less time searching across lots of different websites and more time enjoying van life.

And this is only the beginning! 🧡💚

CampaMate is still growing, and we genuinely want the people who use it to help shape what it becomes. Our beta testers have already played a huge part in helping us improve and develop the platform, and we’re always open to new ideas, suggestions and feedback.

CampaMate has been built by people who love campervans, for people who love campervans — and we’re really excited to see where the journey takes us.
